Creating awareness of Hörmann Middle East at Big 5
Background: Hörmann Middle East is a global leader in commercial, industrial and residential door solutions and wanted to highlight their presence at Big 5 exhibition in Dubai
Challenge: The company had never done any sustained PR programme prior to the event. Lack of existing awareness among the media coupled with time constraint made awareness building a challenge for this project. Big 5 being a busy event with many exhibitors clamouring for coverage, we had to think creatively to get prime coverage.
PR Tactics: The agency contacted target media ahead of time and also established contacts with Media partners and Show dailies. This ensured that Hörmann was covered in the main publications. Interviews were fixed with newspapers, radio and trade media to widen the reach. Agency staff was on the ground to work the press office and coordinate interviews with target media.
Results: Coverage in trade media like Gulf Construction, Construction Weekly, Big Project and Clean Middle East. Pre-event coverage included Gulf News Big 5 supplement, Al Khaleej and Al Bayan newspapers and online media. Interviews with Khaleej Times interior design magazine, Dubai Eye radio Construction Week, Khaleej Times and Clean Middle East at the venue
